Astute Electronics Standardizes with Infor (MESA)

Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Astute Electronics, a leading global specialist electronic component distributor, has chosen to standardize on Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) in the UK, and across its sites in the United States, China, India, Mexico and Israel. Deployed on premise in the UK with direct access for around 100 users across the globe, Infor CloudSuite Industrial will help Astute develop industry-specific processes to support the continuous planned growth of the business. Infor CloudSuite Industrial replaces a legacy system within Astute. Following a thorough review of the market, Infor CloudSuite Industrial was chosen on the basis of its flexibility and the capacity to deliver standard processes across the different areas of the Astute Electronics business.
Using Infor ION, Infor CloudSuite Industrial will integrate with a wide range of customer and supplier systems to enable Astute to support vendor managed inventory and automatic replenishment. Infor CloudSuite Industrial will also integrate the counterfeit testing systems managed by Astute Electronics, enabling them to support the requirement for captured images and test results.
