IBC 2016: ZOO Digital Sets Triple International Partnership Deal for Middle East, India and Pakistan (MESA)

ZOO Digital has announced international strategic partnership deals with three leading in-territory vendors to offer next generation localization and digital distribution across the Middle East, India and Pakistan. ZOO’s new partners include Hi Media Pros, a subsidiary of Al Hakeem Media Production, a post production facility with offices in Cairo and Dubai; Q-LAB, one of India’s major dubbing and post production facilities with offices in key states serving the majority of Indian regions and languages; and ePlanet, a well-established business process outsourcing (BPO) facility that is starting its animation and media production business serving a thriving yet underserved population in Pakistan. ZOO has selected each of the three partners based on their established reputation in the respective key territory. For each partner this offers the advantage of ZOO’s efficient and cost-effective cloud-based business model and delivery of TV and movie content to global online retailers.

Under the programme, ZOO’s staff will provide training and support services to enable all partners to achieve the highest service levels in the industry. Seamless integration with ZOOcloud will give each vendor the benefits of ZOO’s Hollywood-approved security, full traceability and the advantages of working in the cloud. This enables global teams to collaborate easily, review material and monitor progress in real time via a centralized online dashboard.

Visitors to ZOO’s stand at IBC Show 2016 in RAI Amsterdam 9 to 13 September can see live demos of ZOO’s revolutionary technology in action and find out about its full range of global content services. This includes digital distribution, subtitling and captioning, censor review, metadata creation and localization, dubbing, artwork localization, workflow, asset management and eScreeners.

ZOO President, Gordon Doran commented:

“These three partnerships represent a huge opportunity for global TV and movie content owners to access under-served markets in the Middle East, India and Pakistan. Likewise we’re enabling the best local content in those territories to reach new audiences.”

“From censor review to metadata management and digital distribution, we’re licensing our ZOOcloud technology and passing on our know-how to make post production faster and more cost-effective. We’re a step closer to offering the major online retailers a local partner in every territory able to use our world-class technology and services. We’ll be announcing additional partnerships in various growth markets in the forth-coming months.”
