My Eye Media is Dolby Vision Certified (MESA)

My Eye Media has announced their Certification in Dolby Vision® Quality Control Services continuing its expansion into high dynamic range (HDR) with wider color gamut testing and analysis.

“The Dolby Vision® Certification allows My Eye Media access to tools and training that greatly enhances our already robust HDR testing facility. One example would be the color mapping process, which was formerly very render intensive.

Now with the addition of the Dolby Content Mapping Unit software, the validation of the SDR color mapping metadata happens in real-time, making this task much more efficient,” said Ken Kiers, EVP of Post Production Services.

“My Eye Media is committed to delivering the most advanced and innovative solutions to our clients,” said Michael Kadenacy, CEO, My Eye Media. “Over the past year we have expanded our QC offerings to include QC of the HDR experience by participating in the Dolby Vision® pilot program with our customers. We are excited about the expanding list of studios delivering Dolby Vision® content to consumers and will continue to be there for them with our evolving arsenal of technologies.”

My-Eye-Media-Logo-2015-x200 My Eye Media has developed optimal methods for the QC of HDR material delivered from Dolby Vision® workflows and destined for streaming content providers and major studios looking to deliver ultra high-definition (UHD) Blu-ray discs. By conducting analysis on SMPTE 2084 monitors capable of displaying Dolby Vision content as well as shifting its workflows towards HDR adoption, My Eye Media is meeting the rapidly rising demand for HDR QC solutions from top content producers.

My Eye Media’s 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Burbank facility is equipped with multiple bays capable of the technical analysis of UHD, HDR with wider color gamut and Dolby Atmos®.
