ThinkAnalytics Names Geist as New CMO (MESA)

Personalized content discovery and analytics solutions provider ThinkAnalytics has named industry vet Tracy Geist as its new chief marketing officer and member of its board of directors, bringing her over from Cisco’s Service Provider Video Software and Solutions division, where she served as head of global product and partner strategy.

As ThinkAnalytics’ CMO, Geist will be charged with leading the company’s worldwide marketing, product management, and partner strategy, as ThinkAnalytics continues to expand its client portfolio worldwide.

“Tracy brings exceptional experience in digital media convergence, content discovery and monetization of personalized engagement experiences as well as an extensive global network of relationships having held senior leadership roles with companies including Cisco, Digitalsmiths and OpenTV,” said ThinkAnalytics CEO Gabriel Berger. “We are excited to have Tracy join our executive team and board of directors with a focus on expanding our marketing, product management, and partnership efforts and driving new business opportunities globally.”

Geist’s 25 years of experience in the industry includes a stint as SVP of product for Sonifi Solutions, where she was responsible for product and partner strategy for entertainment solutions in the hospitality sector. Before Sonifi, Geist was SVP of international business development and partnerships at Digitalsmiths, before its acquisition by TiVo. She also worked 11 years at OpenTV, serving as SVP of marketing and business development.

Geist currently sits on the advisory board of several companies and is founder and managing partner of strategic consulting firm Thirteen Elephants.
