Financial, Health Care CEOs to Provide Leadership Advice at ‘Industry 4.0’ Event

The April 2 “Industry 4.0: The Future of Humanity in the Smart Machine Age” event — hosted by the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in Los Angeles, and celebrating the school’s 50th anniversary — is geared toward exploring the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the competencies needed to thrive in the business landscape of today and tomorrow.

Keeping with that theme, one “Industry 4.0” thought leadership panel — “Defining Best for the World Leadership” — will bring together a collection of experts who will inform attendees on what strategies to employ to navigate the dynamic changes businesses are undergoing today.

Allen Webb, editor of the business executive magazine “McKinsey Quarterly,” will moderate the panel that includes Ed Hess, author and a professor at the Darden School of Business, Andrei Cherny, founder and CEO of financial firm Aspiration, John Figueroa, former CEO of Genoa Healthcare, and Alex Grimwade, SVP and CIO of Twentieth Century Fox Television. They’ll give the audience success stories, and ideas on what’s needed to succeed in the machine age.

The “Industry 4.0” event is being held to mark the 50th anniversary of the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, with a full-day academic conference, featuring speakers ranging from Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer, Salim Ismail, founding executive director of Silicon Valley business incubator institution Singularity University, Dalana Brand, VP of people rewards and experience for Twitter, Alison Lewis, chief marketing officer for Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc., and more.

MESA newsletter readers can receive a discounted rate for the event of $99 ($155 value), which includes complimentary admission to a special networking event following the conference. Select the “Pepperdine Partner” ticket type and use the code PEPPFRIENDS.
