International Digital Centre Launches L.A. Facility, Names New COO (MESA)

New York-based post production and digital media processing company International Digital Centre (IDC) has opened a new, 6,800-square-foot digital post facility in Hollywood, Calif., one featuring 11 bays, and capable of creating content in Dolby 7.1 Atmos.

Additionally, IDC has named industry veteran Rosanna Marino as its new COO. Marino, who most recently served as SVP of sales and marketing for Fotokem, will oversee day-to-day operations of the L.A. facility, along with handling sales, marketing and engineering management.

“Rosanna is tasked with growing our business and reputation drawing on her over two decades of experience and strong industry relationships,” said Marcy Gilbert, founder and CEO of IDC. “With her guidance, we will leverage the scale and expertise of IDC’s offerings to the Los Angeles market.”

Marino brings more than 20 years of media and entertainment to the role. During her time at Fotokem she was responsible for business development and establishing accounts with CBS, MTV/Nickelodeon, Fremantle Media, Viacom, Disney and Disney ABC. Previously, she held post roles with Laser Pacific, Modern Video Film and Ascent Media.

“We are perfectly positioned to leverage exceptional local talent with the scale and expertise that comes with being bi-costal,” Marino said. “Our state-of-the-art facility creatively supports our clients by managing a full range of file formats and providing workflows that support physical and file-based content.”

The new L.A. facility will provide services include finishing, color grading, editorial in Dolby Vision 4K HDR, UHD, QC services, audio mixing, dubbing and audio description, subtitle and closed caption timed text creation and localization, ABS scripting and translations in more than 40 languages.
