MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Sept. 7-11

A cybersecurity vulnerability outlook from edgescan, a disinformation deep dive by Secure the Village, Wasabi will share ideas on monetizing your archives, and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) community will host the career-help webinar “Rock Your (Re)Connections with Virtual Coffee.”

Those are just a few of the online events members of the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) will be holding the week of Sept. 7-11, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• Edgescan will host the webinar “Heroes Webinar Series: VALIDATION – Mr. Vulnerability, False Positive & Validator.”

• A Cyber Freedom Webinar from Secure the Village will cover “Taming The Tiger: How to Detect, Deter, & Defeat Disinformation with Marc Ambinder.”

Thursday:

• Look for the Wasabi webinar ”Unlock the Power of Active Media Archives on a Budget.”

• Akamai will host the Enterprise Security Virtual Workshop “How to Modernize Your Enterprise Security in the COVID-19 Era.”

• On Sept. 10, during the 11 a.m. PT webinar “Brace Yourselves for the Next Disruption in the Media Industry,” SAP will bring together a trio of industry experts to look ahead at what’s next for the industry, especially in a post-pandemic reality.

“We’ll discuss how the industry is re-imagining production, maximizing your media value in a supply constrained world, and shifting from a distribution to a consumption paradigm,” said Richard Whittington, SVP of M&E, industries and customer advisory for SAP. Whittington will be joined by Jake Hoskins, co-founder and CEO of project management software firm Tripgrid, and Amos Biegun, global head of rights and royalties, for Vistex, a close SAP partner in the M&E industry.

• Salesforce will host the webinar “ow to Master Being the Only Woman in the Zoom.”

Friday:

Motivational speaker, author and success coach Pat Roque has spent decades working as a virtual team strategist and personal transformation coach, making major media appearances along the way, including “Good Morning America,” New York Post, ABC, and Cosmopolitan.

On Sept. 11 at noon PT, Roque will bringher insights to the Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) community, for the webinar “Rock Your (Re)Connections with Virtual Coffee.”
