MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Sept. 21-25

A look at OTT trends and solutions during the pandemic from Verizon Media, IBM Security shares the cost savings and benefits realised by its Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform, and Whip Media Group will tackle the upending of the digital supply chain during today’s unprecedented consumption of digital content.

Those are just a few of the online events members of the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) will be holding the week of Sept. 21-25, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• Verizon Media will host a deep dive into three OTT trends that are reshaping the industry, featuring Colin Dixon, chief analyst and founder of nScreenMedia, and Darren Lepke, head of video product, Verizon Media, with the pair providing marketplace context, valuable insights, and essential details on each.

Thursday:

• Demand for original programming is at an all-time high, subscribers are using more streaming platforms and devices than ever before, and traditional windowing strategies have gone, well, out the window, with premium VOD becoming more prevalent than ever before.

Making sense of constantly shifting user behaviours, and guaranteeing the right content on the right services on the right devices has never been more crucial. On Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. PT, Whip Media Group’s EVP of sales Bill Woods will help you make sense of it all, with a focus on reinventing the content supply chain to optimise global distribution, in the webinar “Welcome to the Age of Accelerated Digital Distribution.” Register here.

• Paola Miranda, product marketing manager for IBM Security will be joined by Mary Anne North, total economic impact consultant for Forrester Consulting, in a discussion on the cost savings and benefits realised by its Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform.

• Caringo CEO Tony Barbagallo and Caringo VP of marketing Adrian J Herrera will be joined by others in a discussion on how global connectivity is increasingly benefiting every corner of business (and our world).

• Teradici and NVIDIA join up for the webinar: “NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstations on NVIDIA RTX Server with Teradici Cloud Access Software – Secure Virtual Visualisation from Anywhere.”
