It’s been more than six months since the coronavirus began altering the entertainment industry, like many others, on a global scale. In that time, we’ve focused on guaranteeing project fulfillment and offering a seamless production experience regardless of the challenges we may face.

As we head into the autumn and winter months, and as part of the anticipated obstacles Iyuno is prepared to face, our France and Indonesia offices join the U.S. office in its level two COVID-19 operational status with only essential staff in the studios. Iyuno Burbank, Paris and Jakarta may experience some impact to capacity and we have the proper workflows in place to support ongoing project fulfillment for the languages serviced in those regions.

Portable, remote option

Our disaster recovery solution, iDub, is the only remote recording platform available to the localization market that combines software and hardware to replicate the traditional studio environment. The portable booth, tablet application and global project management backend have been developed in support of and in collaboration with all of the participants in our global dubbing ecosystem from voice talent to local unions to engineers and beyond. Voice talents work with the same level of collaboration as in a traditional studio. Sound engineers run the sessions with the ability to control the video and recording remotely. Beyond that, we are committed to providing your productions with continuous delivery even if disruption to dubbing operations occur. With our deployment of hundreds of iDub Kits to each of Iyuno’s global facilities this Fall 2020, we will be ready to respond should the need arise.
