Digital Nirvana to Tout AI/ML Content Edge at Oct. 20 M&E Day

Cloud-based AI and machine learning (ML) solutions have already had noticeable impacts on most every aspect of content creation and distribution.

What they will do next for the media and entertainment industry is front-of-mind for AI and ML workflow specialist Digital Nirvana.

Digital Nirvana’s Russell Wise, SVP of sales and marketing, and Russell Vijayan, head of AI products and services, will share real-world applications of AI implemented by leading content producers and distributors during their presentation at the Oct. 20 Media & Entertainment Day event, a live, worldwide virtual event, taking place during the all-new NAB Show New York digital experience.

Their breakout session — “How AI/ML Empower Revolutionizing Content Creation & Distribution” — will look at how these technologies are constantly growing in power and sophistication, bringing new levels of accuracy and efficiency, especially to broadcast operations. They’ll look at use cases across the media delivery chain, covering production, post-production and distribution.

“Expect to get a first-hand view of how key media innovators are applying AI and ML to key workflows in production, post-production, and distribution,” Russell Wise said. “Attendees will understand what commercially available products that have been deployed and the efficiencies generated.”

M&E Day is sponsored by IBM Security, Microsoft Azure, Shift, Akamai, Cartesian, Chesapeake Systems, ContentArmor, Convergent Risks, Deluxe, Digital Nirvana, edgescan, ICVR, EIDR, PK, Richey May Technology Solutions, STEGA and Synamedia, and is being produced by MESA, in cooperation with NAB Show New York, and in association with the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) and the Hollywood IT Society (HITS).
