Premiere Digital Adds Industry Vet Buck as EVP

Media services and tech solutions specialist Premiere Digital has added longtime digital distribution expert Andrew Buck as its new EVP, charging him with leading global expansion of the company’s distribution services and SaaS tools.

Buck most recently was CEO of Toronto- and L.A.-based Juice Worldwide, which he co-founded in 2004. Juice focused on the digital distribution of both video and music content across OTT platforms worldwide, before being acquired by Vubiquity in 2015 (which was then acquired by Amdocs in 2018). Buck continued to serve as CEO of Juice through 2020.

With Premiere Digital, Buck will drive adoption of the company’s STOREFRONT SaaS tool for content monitoring by both content owners and digital retailers. He’ll report to Michele Edelman, head of growth for Premiere.

“Having a world-class team to expand our products and services is top priority,” Edelman said. “I could not be happier to have Andrew on the team as he brings a wealth of industry knowledge & relationships. As our company continues to hit a high note, continuing to expand our presence was critical and Andrew checked all the boxes.”

The hiring is the latest in a series of moves by Premiere to push its expansion plans, with the recent acquisition of Stamford, Conn.-based CMI, and a bigger presence in London with the addition of former Sony Pictures executive Abigail Hughes.
