Xcapism Learning Offers Retention Ideas at Dec. 8 CPS Event

It’s estimated we remember barely 30 percent of information we’re given through traditional communications and awareness at work.

Enter London-based Xcapism Learning and its immersive and gamified approach to workplace learning, with the company showing what it takes to retain up to 90 percent of that info, and truly influence positive behavioural change and culture alike in the workplace.

At the Dec. 8 virtual Content Protection Summit Meera Mehta, CEO of Xcapism Learning, will offer her company’s insights in the presentation “Learn More with Xcapism Learning.”

“Traditional learning and awareness methods from text and video to lectures in areas such as cybersecurity or data privacy leaves people only retaining up to 30 percent of the information they’re given which means they’re less likely to change their behaviour and reduce risk to the business,” Mehta said.

“I’ll be walking you through an approach and solution we’ve developed that uses discovery and gamification to increase information retention in key areas of working life such as cyber security and data privacy to truly influence positive behavioural change. And make it more fun!”

Presented by Microsoft Azure, the event is sponsored by SHIFT, Genpact, Akamai, Convergent Risks, Friend MTS, GeoGuard, PacketFabric, Palo Alto Networks, Richey May Technology Solutions, Splunk, Zixi, Cyberhaven, EIDR and Xcapism Learning.

The Content Protection Summit is produced by MESA, CDSA, the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), under the direction of the CDSA Board of Directors and content advisors representing Amazon Studios, Adobe, Paramount, BBC Studios, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, WarnerMedia, Amblin Entertainment, Legendary Pictures, and Lego Group.
