Meta CEO Brings Localisation Tips to 25 Feb. CWMF Event

Rob Tucker, CEO of AI-generated content metadata specialists Meta, will share how to simplify the localisation process in today’s global content environment at the 25 Feb. Content Workflow Management Forum, “M&E’s Premiere Localisation Event.”

His presentation — “Introduction to the Meta Localisation Platform” — will show how the platform (developed in concert with WarnerMedia) centralises subtitling, dubbing, translation, graphics and artwork localisation requirements for WarnerMedia’s vast catalogue of 250,000-plus titles.

“Localisation has been a messy process for too long – disparate teams of people, across multiple time zones, sending thousands of spreadsheets and assets in short timeframes. This kind of business ecosystem can breed miscommunication, task duplication and cost inefficiency,” Tucker said. “In this session, I will demonstrate how Meta’s groundbreaking new localisation platform can centralise subtitling, dubbing, translation, graphics and artwork localisation requirements for an entire global catalogue — streamlining your supply chain with a centralised record of all global assets.”

The presentation will also explore how the platform plays a key part in the technical and editorial compliance process, enabling a clear audit trail of communication between internal teams and external partners, while also eliminating the possibility of task duplication and keeping a centralised record of all global assets.

The Content Workflow Management Forum is produced by MESA, the Smart Content Council, and the Hollywood IT Society, with sponsorship by Whip Media Group, Iyuno Media Group, Deluxe, Digital Nirvana, Meta, OOONA, Vubiquity, Nexus TV, Titles-On, EIDR, Keywords Studios and Signiant.
