MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Feb. 22-26

Dolby discusses optimising content for every screen, Zendesk tackles the ins and outs of the optimum customer experience, and the industry’s localisation community comes together for the annual Content Workflow Management Forum.

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of Feb. 22-26, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Wednesday:

• Dolby’s David Trescot, senior director for enterprise encoding, will share how companies like Sony Pictures, HBO, and Showtime use Dolby’s Cloud Media Processing to deliver compelling content in the free presentation “Optimising Content For Every Screen.”

Thursday:

• Edgescan’s Rahim Jina will lead a panel discussion on how to secure open source code used in public health apps in the presentation “An Open and Secure approach to Public Health Apps.”

• The Zendesk webinar “Founders Panel with Eko Health, Sendoso, and Hatch” has Sarah Reed, senior director of content, leading a panel discussion where tech leaders will share their techniques and thought processes on how to successfully plan for a post-pandemic world.

• The Content Workflow Management Forum, “M&E’s Premiere Localisation Event,” will be a fully digital event that brings together the industry’s leading language service providers, content creators, AI and technology companies, and broadcast and OTT executives, all gathered to tackle the latest challenges and share the latest solutions.

Both main stage speakers and breakout room vendors will lead attendees through discussions around where the localisation industry stands, in terms of workflow efficiencies, use and development of artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud-based solutions, views from the consumer perspective, and what the future has in store, considering the explosion in demand for international content.
