Nexus TV Opens its First Dolby Atmos Studio

Nexus TV is a dubbing and post-production studio based in Cologno Monzese and Milan; active since 1997, it has seen tremendous growth in the last three years.

To cement this growth Nexus TV has decided to look ahead and implement Dolby Atmos technology as part of the offer to clients.

The construction of the latest Studio brings the total number of Nexus TV’s recording studios to five, and the number of mixing suites to three, giving NexusTV stereo, 5.1. and 7.1.4. Dolby Atmos home entertainment mixing capabilities.

In designing and building the Dolby Atmos studio the accent was put towards creating an agile and nimble mixing studio that is ready to grow in the future as new features from clients are requested.

The studio boasts a Mac Pro Intel 3,3GHz Xeon W 12-core with Turbo Boost up to 4,4GHz, 48GB ECC DDR4 memory and Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB GDDR5 of memory and a Focusrite Red 16Line 64×64 all-in-one interface, 32×32 Dante I/O.

The selected speakers are 11 BM5 mkIII Dynaudio plus a Dynaudio 9S subwoofer.

Nexus TV studio offers a wide variety of services from music supervision, soundtrack production, foley, audio and video postproduction to dubbing and localisation.

The large facility (over 1000 squared meters over two stories) offers the ideal solution where your content can be created, post-produced and cared for.

In 2020 alone Nexus TV has had the chance to localise more than 1500 minutes of material a month.
