HITS Spring: Eluvio’s Munson to Detail Benefits of New Streaming, Ticketing Platform

A fully secure, blockchain-backed 4K video streaming and ticketing service, one that offers low-latency, owner-controlled content distribution, with a fully integrated PPV ticketing service, all available via mobile, browser, desktop, AppleTV and Roku.

That’s the promise of Eluvio LIVE, a one-of-a-kind offering geared toward concerts and premium exhibitions, distributed directly from artists to audiences globally, and built on Eluvio’s Content Fabric, a scalable content distribution network for premium video first launched in 2019, used by MGM Studios, FOX Networks and mobile streaming providers.

On May 12 at the annual Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event — the industry’s largest gathering of media and entertainment’s CIOs and top technology minds — Michelle Munson, CEO and co-founder of Eluvio, will detail everything that makes LIVE unique, during a live Q&A.

“The global shift towards streaming live events, necessitated by the pandemic, will become a permanent way to amplify in-person performances when they return, and the opportunity for artists to control their content destiny via blockchain technology has come together in a unique moment,” she said. “Eluvio LIVE will enable these ‘multi-experiential’ viewing opportunities to reach beyond the confines of physical venues, and unlock the ability of artists and publishers to continually monetise their content.”

Her presentation — “Eluvio LIVE: A Novel Streaming & Ticketing Platform Distributed Directly from Artists and Publishers” — will show off the key features of the service, including buffer-free multi-view for any number of individual camera feeds delivered simultaneously, and built-in encryption and digital rights management to prevent illegal redistribution and copying.
