HITS Spring to See Genpact Promote Benefits of a Virtual Workforce

The past year witnessed an accelerated industry shift for both consumers and the content workforce, with more at-home content consumption by the former, and more remote work for the latter (all to make the former a reality). M&E companies have had to transform, on the fly, to stay ahead of constantly evolving revenue-generation models.

At the May 12 Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event, Brajesh Jha, global head of media and entertainment for Genpact, will share an update on how that virtual workforce strategy has panned out, and offer ideas on how it can be improved on.

“We’ve seen first-hand the challenges our M&E clients faced in making sure their workforce who were distributed around the globe had all the tools they needed to work together,” Jha said. “In this session I will examine the complexities of enabling virtual work safely and seamlessly, and offer insights on how organizations can drive growth by combining functional expertise with digital tools.”

Jha’s presentation — “Driving Operational Agility with a Virtual Workforce” — will focus on how the remote-work challenges of 2020 are opportunities for organizations in 2021 to find ways to release capital that’s been long-trapped in archaic organizational structures.

Empowering a distributed workforce with digital solutions is at the heart of today’s winning transformation strategy, and augmented intelligence can enable any media company to transform the employee experience, building a flexible, resilient business, one that can capitalize on new growth opportunities.

HITS Spring is programmed under the guidance of the Content Advisors of the Hollywood IT Society, and is produced by the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) and the Hollywood IT Society (HITS), in association with the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) and the Smart Content Council.
