Tata Consultancy Talks D2C Data, Experience Ecosystem at HITS Spring

Attendees of the May 12 Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event will be treated to both main stage and breakout presentations from IT experts Tata Consultancy Services.

First on the main stage is “Experience Ecosystem – Where Virtual Breathes Life Into Real(ity)” with Sabyasachi “Saby” Mitra, global head of strategic operating model transformation industry and strategic accounts lead for Tata.

He’ll tackle how, in today’s hyperconnected, personalized and without-borders world, lines have disappeared between the real and virtual. He’ll share how Tata believes that virtual experiences influence real life, and how real life experiences enhance the virtual world. One of the challenges among all this is the disparate number of companies trying to address all of our needs and wants, without tapping into a holistic ecosystem for experiences.

Next, in the breakout sessions, Narendran Sivakumar, AI advisory, products and platforms lead for Tata’s Communications, Media and Information Services business unit, will present the session “Digital Twin-Based Experimentation in the Media & Entertainment Industry.”

He’ll examine how the best relationships between audiences and platforms are those that are unique, personal, and effortless, with audiences choosing the platform that anticipates their need and knows exactly what to offer. Direct-to-consumer (D2C) operating models have opened a window directly into the hearts of audiences, creating a direct relationship with consumers (and their data). The winners in the D2C space will be those who most effectively leverage their available data.

Sivakumar’s presentation will focus on how entertainment is moving beyond historical events and using real-time data to plan and recommend media deployment.

HITS Spring is programmed under the guidance of the content advisors of the Hollywood IT Society, and is produced by MESA and the Hollywood IT Society (HITS), in association with the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) and the Smart Content Council.
