CPS EU: Xcapism CEO to Tout Gamification of Cyber Training

Cybersecurity training for your employees is an absolute must today, and with constantly evolving threats, keeping that training fresh is just as crucial.

But with study after study showing that people retain only 30 percent of the traditional communications and awareness they receive at work, making sure your staff stays up to speed can be problematic.

Enter Xcapsim Learning and its immersive and gamified approach to cybersecurity training, which promises not only up to 90 percent retention of the material that needs to be learned, but also the ability to truly influence positive behavioral change and culture in your workplace. At the June 29 Content Protection Summit Europe (CPS EU) event, Xcapism CEO Meera Mehta will share the latest offerings from her company in the presentation “Hack to the Office.”

“Traditional learning and awareness methods in cybersecurity and data privacy leaves people only remembering up to 30 percent of the information they’re given which means they’re less likely to change their behavior and reduce risk to the business. We can change that!” she said. “I’ll be showing you some cool games we’ve developed that use discovery to increase information retention at work and at home and truly influence positive behavioral change. Learning doesn’t have to be boring!”

Content Protection Summit Europe is presented by Convergent Risks, with sponsorship by Richey May Technology Solutions, Synamedia, BuyDRM, Friend MTS, NAGRA, X Cyber Group and Xcapism Learning. The event is produced by MESA, the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), under the direction of the CDSA board of directors and content advisors representing Amazon Studios, Adobe, Paramount, BBC Studios, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, WarnerMedia, Amblin Entertainment, Legendary Pictures, and Lego Group.
