Klio CEO to Share Cloud Production Insights at July 21 EES Event

When the pandemic brought Hollywood productions to a halt, it caused producers and production companies alike to take a long look at how they’ve always done business, and make some major changes.

Now that COVID-19 is being put in the past, do productions need to go back to being managed in person, with a daunting paper-trail to make it all work?

Those are the questions Adrienne Lunson, CEO and founder of cloud-based production management specialist Klio Studio will answer at the July 21 inaugural, all-virtual Entertainment Evolution Symposium  event.

Her presentation — “Post COVID: Moving Production Management to the Cloud to Enable Secure Remote Work” — will show how by migrating workflows to a digital cloud platform c companies can easily track hundreds of productions, covering thousands of employees, across the world, resulting in better quality of life for everyone involved … without sacrificing quality.

“We will show how technology can create efficiency, cost savings, and security for productions but be tailored to the creatives that don’t always prioritize those items,” Lunson said. “We want to challenge attendees to reconsider how Hollywood functions and question whether we can improve the quality of life of those that work in the industry.”

There’s no reason producers, line producers, and assistant directors can’t enjoy the same tools that post and camera departments have long employed.

Produced by MESA, the Entertainment Evolution Symposium is a partnership between the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and HITS, with an advisory committee represented by MESA, Pepperdine, Amazon Web Services, Apple, The David Bishop Group and TwentyOne14 Media.

The event is sponsored by Whip Media, PacketFabric, 5th Kind, EIDR and the Trusted Partner Network.
