Ad-ID Names Yonah Levenson VP, Group Director of Information Services

Ad-ID, the industry standard for identifying advertising assets across all media platforms, has announced the appointment of Yonah Levenson as VP and group director of information services. In this role, Levenson will lead a team of data specialists to broaden Ad-ID’s metadata and taxonomy solutions in response to a growing need across the industry for more expansive, canonical information about advertising assets.

Yonah Levenson has extensive experience in overseeing data analysis and taxonomy projects for some of the world’s leading organizations in entertainment and publishing. Before joining Ad-ID, she served in metadata and taxonomy management positions for WarnerMedia and HBO, where her efforts helped to improve efficiency and alignment across the organizations’ metadata systems and reports. Prior to HBO, she worked for more than two decades in management and analyst roles at Pearson Education, Data Conversion Laboratory, and HarperCollins Publishers.

Levenson has served as a part-time faculty member at the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information since 2019, where she co-founded and co-directs the Professional Certificate in Digital Asset Management program, for which she also won the award for Professional Development Instructor of the Year. She is also the founder and co-chair of the Language Metadata Table, a global standard created to provide a unified reference for language codes used in the media and entertainment industries.

“Yonah’s vast industry experience and data asset acumen signals Ad-ID’s heightened commitment to data and information as we continue to evolve capabilities reflecting the expanding needs of the industry,“ said Marla Kaplowitz, president and CEO of the 4A’s.

“Ad-ID creates more value across the advertising industry by providing and applying enriched taxonomies across all assets and platforms,” Levenson said. “I am honored to have the opportunity to help shape the future of this important service, and I look forward to leading a team of exceptional talent as we develop the next generation of metadata tools for U.S. advertisers.”
