The Kitchen Names Eutdel Garcia VP Engineering, Facilities

With the continued focus in growing its Engineering and Technology capabilities within The Kitchen worldwide, Eutdel Garcia has been named VP Engineering & Facilities effective immediately.

“When we were looking to add to our growing technical and facilities team,” Ken Lorber, President/CEO explained, “everyone I knew pointed us to Eutdel. He brings a strong focus on team-building and developing support standards and procedures that we will incorporate into the day-to-day operations at all of our global Kitchen studios.”

“I am thrilled to now be a part of The Kitchen,” Eutdel explained. “I actually have been working with The Kitchen throughout my time as Director of Engineering at Discovery Networks, and I look forward to adding to the company’s overall growth plans. The localization industry is experiencing a tremendous boom right now, and The Kitchen will continue to be at the forefront. I see this as a great opportunity to take The Kitchen to the next level, particularly in terms of Cloud technology”

Garcia’s plan is to ramp up The Kitchen’s migration to becoming a fully invested Cloud facility by the end of the year, creating procedures that will be identical in all of the company’s global studio networks. “This will give us the flexibility, mobility and accessibility we need to work seamlessly from any of our studios, or home offices, worldwide.

This will allow us to provide universal access to staff, freelancers, vendors, clients, etc. Utilizing the Cloud technology will also bring The Kitchen tremendous overall savings, giving us the opportunity to offer even more to our clients.”

“Security is another foremost priority. Accepting content from our clients is sacred, and we take all security procedures very seriously,” Garcia added. “I am thrilled to be on this winning team.”
