Batchelor Joins Iyuno-SDI as VP, Client Ops, London

Long-time studio veteran Tom Batchelor has moved to the vendor side of the business, taking on the role of VP of client operations in London for localisation firm Iyuno-SDI Group.
“Having joined us on Sept. 13, Tom is the newest member of our team and has a long history of working on both sides of the business, commercial and operational,” the company wrote in an announcement. “Tom has spent a combined 17 years at Warner Bros. and Disney, the last five of which were based in Singapore overseeing Disney’s theatrical, localisation and operations teams for Southeast Asia and the APAC region. His experience brings a fresh, customer-centric view to help us consistently focus on how your needs are heard and satisfied.”
Batchelor oversaw all theatrical delivery, formatting and localisation management teams for Disney’s APAC region, and assuming oversight of dubbing efforts in the region, with teams in India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and more, for both theatrical and Disney+ localisation.
Most recently, he focused on Disney+ operations, leading dubbing strategy for Disney catalogue and new Disney+ originals for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
During his time with Warner Bros. UK, Batchelor served as senior manager of UK theatrical sales, leading distribution of more than 250 titles.
