MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Oct. 4-8

The Media & Entertainment Information Sharing Analysis Centre (ME-ISAC) holds its latest informal meet-up for cybersecurity and content protection executives in the M&E industry. Tech Mahindra discusses the power of women in the media and entertainment industry in the webinar “Women in Leadership: The Cumulative Effect.”

OpSec Security offers ideas on “How to License Your Merch When You Go Viral: Customizable Trademark Management Solutions.” And Box holds its annual BoxWorks event, with more than a dozen presentations.

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of Oct. 4-8, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• The Media & Entertainment Information Sharing Analysis Centre (ME-ISAC) — an initiative within the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), for the benefit of the Trusted Partner Network (TPN) — will hold its latest informal meet-up for cybersecurity and content protection executives in the M&E industry.

Held the first Tuesday of each month, the virtual events feature presentations and Q&As with experts in the industry. ME-ISAC provides stakeholders with intelligence on incidents, threats, risks, vulnerabilities, and associated remediations in the form of alerts, threat intelligence feeds, newsletters, forums, training and more.

• “Work Smarter Not Harder, A Video Editor’s Guide” has Adobe experts share how the world of video production has never been more accessible, with advancements in video tools the key to expressing your creativity and producing incredible work at any scale.

Wednesday:

With more than a dozen presentations, the annual (and free) BoxWorks event sees IT leaders and visionary executives exploring the power of content, with keynotes and new product announcements, customer and industry speakers, and breakout sessions and demos.

• “Back-to-Basics: Adobe Sign and Microsoft integration” will see Adobe and Microsoft presenters hold an introductory webinar, perfect for those not familiar with Adobe Sign for Microsoft apps, where attendees can learn an overview of the integrations with Microsoft, the benefits for your organisation and customers, and how to get started.

Thursday:

• OpSec Security offers ideas on “How to License Your Merch When You Go Viral: Customisable Trademark Management Solutions.” The webinar will cover best practices from leading brands on how to license your merch quickly and easily.

• “A Practical Guide to Fighting Ransomware: Implementing Immutable Cloud Storage” sees Wasabi’s David Boland, product marketing, Drew Schlussel, product marketing, and Vilas Belagodu, partner in engineering, discuss how using on-prem storage could be leaving you vulnerable.

• In “Become a CX Champion” Zendesk has experts on hand to break down how they use the company’s products to provide better customer support and share the best practices and insights they’ve learned along the way.

• The Adobe-sponsored webinar “Lights, Camera, Action: Behind the Scenes of Successful Virtual Events” has virtual training expert and author Cindy Huggett discuss how to set yourself up for success in your online events.

Friday:

• Tech Mahindra discusses the power of women in the media and entertainment industry in the webinar “Women in Leadership: The Cumulative Effect.” The session will focus on the personal growth and career development that has brought panelists to where they are today.
