ZOO Digital announced the launch of its mastering services division, headed up by ex-Fox Filmed Entertainment, Melissa McAllister as Director of TV Mastering & Servicing. This new service offering from ZOO will support leading content creators to deliver for next day air on major streaming services and platforms. It further enhances ZOO’s position as an end-to-end vendor to the global media and entertainment industry.

ZOO will provide mastering for both UHD and HD content, working from IMF ML7, ML6, ML4, J2K and ProRes source files.

This will include next day air servicing for content on major streaming platforms. The service will be led out of ZOO’s Los Angeles facility, which benefits from the latest hardware and software for mastering, QC and PSE testing.

The launch of its mastering services bolsters ZOO Digital as a provider of end-to-end localisation and media services to the entertainment industry.

To strengthen the launch of the new mastering service, ex-Fox Filmed Entertainment, Melissa McAllister joins the service provider as Director of TV Mastering & Servicing.

With 18 years’ experience in the media and entertainment industry, including as Project Manager for Media Services Localisation at Fox Filmed Entertainment, McAllister specialises in managing projects to deliver the highest levels of quality, while adhering to some of the tightest turnaround times demanded in the entertainment industry.

As Director of TV Mastering & Servicing, McAllister leads a highly-experienced team of mastering project managers, encoders, editors and QC technicians, all working to deliver high quality masters for the world’s biggest content creators.
