MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Nov. 15-19

Palo Alto Networks brings its “IGNITE 21” conference to audiences in the Americas, Asia and Europe, Zendesk brings audiences a CX case study from the city of St. Paul, and a cybersecurity expert shows business leaders how to improve security governance and operations, and defend against ransomware, in the webinar “Anatomy of a Ransomware Attack.”

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of Nov. 15-19, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Monday:

• Palo Alto Networks kicks off its four-day “IGNITE 21” conference, featuring a bevy of thought leader keynotes, breakout sessions, training and more, for audiences in the Americas, Asia and Europe, with a heavy emphasis on how cyberthreats are constantly evolving, and how to be prepared for what’s next.

Tuesday:

• The volume and impact of ransomware attacks are increasing at alarming rates, and what’s surprising is that many organisations are falling victim to vulnerabilities they’re already aware of.

On Nov. 16, Dr. Michel Hébert, research director with the Information Security, Privacy, Risk and Compliance practice at Info-Tech Research Group, a technology research and advisory firm, will offer insights into how security leaders can improve security governance and operations, and defend against ransomware, in the  “Anatomy of a Ransomware Attack.”

The session will outline what you can do to reduce your exposure to ransomware and mount an effective security incident response when the time comes. Hébert will detail notable ransomware attacks during the first half of the year, share the impact of those attacks across industries, and offer ideas on how to protect against attacks, based on what’s been learned.

The percentage of cybersecurity professionals who believe their organisation is not prepared to prevent a ransomware attack, the average cost of a ransomware attack, and the frequency of how often a new organisation is attacked by ransomware will all be discussed.

Thursday:

• Zendesk will host the webinar “A CX Moment with the City of St. Paul,” an intimate conversation where attendees will learn how the city of St. Paul approached its digital transformation and offer impactful CX strategies for even the most digitally reluctant of industries.

Friday:

• Veritone will host an “Analyst Update & Tech Demo” as a virtual event. Attendees will have an opportunity to experience Veritone’s industry leading AI solutions and hear from our customers and partners. Additionally, Veritone will reveal and demonstrate new technologies publicly for the first time and senior management will review the broader company vision, business strategies and new partnerships.
