MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: Nov. 29-Dec. 3

CHESA, Adobe and more gather to talk production workflows in the cloud, Digital Nirvana touts the benefits of its AI and ML solution MetadataIQ, and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) gives to STEM programs on Giving Tuesday.

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 3, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• As part of the annual, global generosity movement Giving Tuesday, being held this year on Nov. 30, Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) will again be accepting donations to fund its annual charity, with 100 percent of proceeds benefitting STEM programs in underserved communities and a collection of charitable organizations.

WiTH has set up a social media fundraising how-to https://www.withollywood.org/social-media-fundraising/ page that allows users to adopt the WiTH Foundation in personal Facebook fundraiser, and includes resources to kick-off individual fundraisers on behalf of the WiTH Foundation. Wednesday:

• Digital Nirvana’s “Automated Generation and Integration of (Transcript) Metadata from Digital Nirvana” will look at how the company’s AI and ML solution MetadataIQ improves the media accessibility and the creation process within Avid, with presenters discussing how metadata locators within the Avid Interplay MAM help editors and producers quickly identify and retrieve content, saving valuable time and effort.

• “Automate Your Workflows Using Adobe Sign, Adobe PDF Services, and Microsoft Power Platform” will see representatives from both companies how you how several automations work including a hands-on demo. Attendees will learn how to automate branded, large-scale document creation and signing for contracts, employee onboarding paperwork, statements and
Invoices.

• “Camera to Cloud Part 2 – Keep Your Head in the Clouds with Frame.Io, Adobe and CHESA” is the second of two audience interactive, live production workflow-in-the-cloud demonstrations via webinar. The online event will follow with a panel discussion that includes Michael Cioni of Frame.io (an Adobe Company), Morgan Prygrocki of Adobe, and Lance Hukill and Tom Kehn of CHESA.
