Iyuno-SDI’s First-Ever Pop-Up Dubbing Studio to Debut in Prague

Iyuno-SDI Group is meeting industry demand for Czech dubbing by bringing its remote recording solution to Prague’s hottest neighborhood, transforming a popular co-working space into an innovative, pop-up dubbing studio experience.

Located at Na Perštýně 342/1, the Prague pop-up studio is a direct response to the client’s requests to increase capacity and expand the talent pool in a market that is in high demand.

The temporary remote dubbing facility features three portable recording booths wired into on-premises control facilities for the actors, engineers and producers to collaborate in person as they would in a traditional permanent dubbing studio.

The Prague Pop-Up Dubbing Studio is one of many steps in Iyuno-SDI’s larger efforts to expand the global dubbing capacity both on an immediate and longer-term permanent basis.

The pop-up dubbing booth was originally designed as part of the company’s iDub remote recording solution. First introduced in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, iDub Remote recording kits are now placed in 20 countries with over 200 systems ready for immediate deployment, in response to market needs.

“The Prague pop-up studio went from concept to fully operational in only three weeks,” said Alberto Abisso, Chief Operations Officer. “This is in no small part due to the immediate availability of already deployed systems, and the dedication of our local operations and product teams to bring the facility to life in record time.”

“We have made a commitment to our customers and the industry to expand global capacity of our dubbing operations,” said David Lee, CEO. “While building new dubbing studios takes as much as a year from concept to operational, with this solution we can immediately deploy additional capacity to respond to spikes in demand as we continue to make further investments in longer-term facility expansion.”
