Microsoft Azure tackles the benefits of Azure Migrate for web app discovery and assessment, Veritone hosts a customer showcase for AI solutions for media and entertainment companies, and MicroStrategy brings out A-list speakers for its annual, two-day MicroStrategy World event.

Those are just a couple of the events from the MESA community the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 4, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

On Feb. 1-2, the annual MicroStrategy World event will be held as an all-virtual conference, featuring thought leadership discussions, customer success stories, sessions on cloud and embedded analytics and end-to-end solutions.

And highlighting a track of sessions on Bitcoin will be a keynote discussion between Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, with Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy’s founder and CEO, going over MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin strategy and journey to date.

Here’s a look at some of the topics attendees can expect:

• Thought Leadership – Visualisations, AI and workflows, 2022 predictions for analytics and business intelligence.

• Vertical Solutions with MicroStrategy – Retail, financial, healthcare to name a few.

• No Click Analytics – the future of thinking ahead for end users before they go searching for answers (hyper intelligence).

• Embedded and OEM Solutions – this is one of MicroStrategy’s largest need by clients over the past year. More and more clients are looking to “give their applications a facelift” with embedded analytics and MicroStrategy is leading the way.

• Cloud and MCE – MicroStrategy is in the middle of moving all of our clients to the MCE platform (MicroStrategy Cloud Environment) – there will be clients who will be presenting their own journeys from on-premise to MCE as well.

Wednesday:

As part of its ongoing webinar series, Azure hosts “Discover and Assess .NET Apps Using Azure Migrate at Scale,” covering how Azure Migrate web app discovery and assessment allow hassle free agentless discovery. The at-scale discovery and assessment features on Azure Migrate will allow you to discover and assess up to 20k .NET web apps at a time, along with recommendations for App Service plan, SKU and cost details. With this, you’ll be able to save time and better prepare for migration and modernisation.

Thursday:

The “Veritone Customer Showcase: AI Solutions for Media and Entertainment Companies” offers insights into how Veritone Enterprise AI solutions span a broad range of media and entertainment applications, Including audio advertising, ad attribution and proof of performance, content licensing, digital asset management, and synthetic voice. Attendees will discover how organisations such as Audacy, Babbel, and the San Francisco Giants are leveraging Veritone AI solutions to digitally transform their businesses.
