Warner Sisters President to Offer Up SoCal Women’s Closing Keynote
Story Highlights
At Women in Technology Hollywood’s (WiTH) SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit, being held 3rd Nov. at Nya Studios in Los Angeles, Cass Warner, president of Warner Sisters, accomplished author, screenwriter, and filmmaker, will deliver the closing keynote of the day-long event.
Her presentation — “Legacy of Leadership: Empowering Women in Entertainment and Technology” — dives into her insights into the Warner family’s profound impact on the entertainment industry. And as the granddaughter of Harry Warner, co-founder of Warner Bros., she’s got plenty to share. This fireside chat will take attendees on an exploration of innovation, ethical leadership, and women’s empowerment through the lens of a family legacy that epitomises “Educate, Entertain, and Enlighten.”
WiTH is thrilled to announce this fireside chat with Cass Warner, the group said, calling her “a beacon of inspiration and a custodian of a remarkable entertainment legacy.”
President of Warner Sisters since 1996, the Warner family’s message of “Educate, Entertain, and Enlighten” is a legacy Cass Warner continues with her own career journey, and it’s a philosophy that perfectly aligns with the Summit’s focus on leadership within media and entertainment.
The fireside chat will explore the riveting story of how the Warner brothers overcame challenges and pioneered new pathways in Hollywood, all while staying true to their commitment to social responsibility and unity. Cass Warner’s personal insights and experiences will illuminate the journey of her family, highlighting their dedication to both innovation and ethical leadership. Her accomplished background as an author and screenwriter further emphasises her continued impact on the industry.
Cass Warner’s documentary “The Brothers Warner,” a project she directed, wrote, produced, and narrated, has left an indelible mark on the industry. This film is not only an intimate portrait of her family but also a tribute to their legacy. The PBS “American Masters” series aired the hour-long version for two years, and the film has won numerous awards, including the prestigious HBO Films Producer Award. She was also on the Emmy Directors’ nomination list in 2009.
As the discussion delves into the legacy of leadership, Cass will also share her own journey and successes in the industry. Her trailblazing spirit serves as a guiding light for aspiring professionals, particularly women aiming to make their mark in technology and entertainment.
The Summit’s theme of “Us, Our Orgs, Our Community” takes on new meaning as attendees discover the ways in which Cass’s family values have shaped not only their achievements but also their positive impact on society.
In addition to her creative accomplishments, Cass Warner has dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation of talent.
Her non-profit The Dream Factory houses exclusive interviews with notable figures like Matthew McConaughey, her son Cole Hauser, and Chick Corea, among others, who share their passion for their craft in “The Inspirational Library.”
Attendees should prepare to be inspired, motivated, and empowered as the conversation with Cass Warner transcends generations, weaving the past into the present and propelling us toward a future where women’s leadership takes centre stage. Her presence at the Summit promises to be an unforgettable experience that celebrates the achievements of women while igniting a passion for innovation and equality.
