Sr. Analyst, International Royalties

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Sr. Analyst, International Royalties in the International Sales/Distribution department.
Responsibilities
Communicate with international clients on a regular basis to collect accounting/royalty statements and additional detail on sales, receipts, expenses, allocations, etc.
Perform Independent analysis of accounting/royalty reports, comparing ultimates to actuals, checking errors in applying and calculating back-end participation, currency conversion rates, making sure sub-distribution deals (e.g., VOD and TV) are reported accurately, etc.
Deal directly with third party distributors to discuss and resolve any discrepancies/errors on their accounting/royalty statements
Track A/R from invoice through collection
Review and approve deal terms of all sub-license/sub-distribution deals of third party distributors
Work closely with other groups within Department (e.g., Sales, Home Entertainment, TV, Rights Management, & Participations) on providing sales detail, projections, recoupment status, etc.
Maintain and update information in database regarding invoicing, collections, payments and tracking of statements received
Interface with producers and banks regarding collection accounts and payment confirmation
Conduct ad hoc title analysis projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
Must also have very competent Excel skills and be comfortable working with numbers
Must write clearly and informatively and be able to read and interpret written information
Candidates should be able to speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations, as well as respond to questions in a timely manner
Need to be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize workload
Knowledge of SAP or like systems, a plus
A Bachelor’s degree is required
