Brian is the Managing Director of Kingsmead Security Limited, founded in October 2018. Kingsmead Security is an independent content security consultancy serving the TV and film industry. Kingsmead provides consultancy services to content owners, service providers, and technology vendors worldwide. Projects include security auditing, service testing, whitepaper development, and ad-hoc security projects.
Brian’s earlier roles included Technical Director of Connected TV at Digital UK where he led the technology development of the Freeview Play TV service and Director of TV Technology for TalkTalk where he led the development of the TalkTalk TV service. These services provide a range of on-demand and live channels, including catchup services and premium content.
Earlier work included the development of the BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Homechoice TV service. This innovative TV service offered live broadcast, on-demand, catch-up, and start again services from 2004. Brian started work in the TV industry in 1995.
