Hugh started his career at his local theatre nearly 35 years ago. He trained at the Royal Welsh College and Drama as a theatre stage manager and spent several years working in theatre lighting and sound before joining legendary lighting control manufacturer Flying Pig Systems as a technical support and training specialist. After Flying Pigs was acquired by US lighting manufacturer High End Systems Inc, Hugh supported, trained, tested and evangelised High End’s DMX controlled media server product Catalyst. Hugh has spent the last 20 years working with media servers in concert touring, broadcast and high end corporate events, and joined Brompton Technology as a freelance consultant 11 years ago. He also does some multi-camera directing for concert touring. Hugh joined the Brompton Product Management team full-time last year.
