Managing the end to end media supply chain from delivery, from studios and distributors, content operations, localisation, meta-data and EPG, ad sales support, live and linear channel broadcast, SVOD and distribution across entertainment, news and sport and operating WarnerBros.Discovery supply chain to HBO Max. James and team’s focus is on defining, building, operating and continually improving the content platforms, partnerships and services that enable and power WBD channels, brands, products, partnerships and business models globally.

James has been in the media industry since 2004 leading the design, build and run of digital and broadcast services across the UK public service sector and internationally. He has led change initiatives across the media industry, delivering transformation and modernisation of broadcast, production, international playout and distribution, VOD, OTT and Direct-to-Consumer products and working with global media organisations leading strategic transformation driven by process and technology innovation.

James started his career at IBM laboratories in Winchester, UK, after graduating from University of Leicester with a first-class degree in Engineering, then spent several years consulting across a wide range of industry sectors focusing on strategic deployment of technology and services to enable business growth, efficiency and operational agility before moving into the media industry.
