Stephen’s 25 years of experience in entertainment finance, and technology started with an internship at Paramount Pictures in the 90s, where he combined his lifelong passion for software development, and a degree in business, and put them to good use.
In 1999, while at Cast, and Crew – the second largest entertainment payroll services company, Stephen’s team pioneered a new age of Internet-based entertainment production applications—including the first online production accounting, and payroll application that was used on tentpole productions Pearl Harbor, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. From there, Stephen founded his own technology company that specialized in advising both entertainment, and startup companies.
With successful exits at two startups (one sold for $30M, and the other was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal), Stephen returned to the entertainment payroll world with the launch of Revolution to improve the tech landscape.
