MUSO, Cyware, ME-ISAC. Experts Galore Highlights Dec. 6 CPS Event

At the Dec. 6 Content Protection Summit (CPS) in Los Angeles, attendees will be treated to presentations from some of the biggest names in the cybersecurity and content protection industries.

In the session “Responding to Demand: How Much are we Leaving on the Table?” Christopher Elkins, co-founder and chief business development officer for global piracy and unlicensed media consumption data firm MUSO, will help the industry understand and measure the demand side of piracy. Elkins will detail what businesses are potentially leaving on the table as the bad guys and pirate-supply are removed without backfill from the business.

In the discussion “Advantages Gained by our Members Through Information Sharing” Aaron Perkins, customer success manager for Cyware and Chris Taylor, director of the Media and Entertainment Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ME-ISAC) take the stage.

As an integrated part of the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the ME-ISAC is leveraging the Cyware platform for alerts and communications in a collaborative environment. In this session, attendees will hear how these communications platforms can supercharge the communities/working groups and dramatically increase their overall effectiveness.

The CPS event will be the premiere gathering of the top security and asset protection minds in the M&E industry. Held in-person in Los Angeles, and virtually in the MESAverse, MESA’s virtual work environment for its members and communities, the full-day event at the Skirball Center will see industry stakeholders mingle with counterparts, demo the latest offerings from top Hollywood vendors, and watch presentations, with an emphasis on content protection in a virtual production era.
