Over the last twenty-five years, Rhys has worked in numerous areas of the film industry –from on set to the corporate boardrooms. Prior to joining Descriptive Video Works in 2019, Rhys spent twelve years with Technicolor working in London, Los Angeles and Vancouver leading the Operations and Technology teams for Technicolor’s Digital Cinema and Visual Effects business units. In 2020 Rhys was promoted to Studio Head, leading a dedicated and passionate team of technicians and artists bringing accessibility to media and entertainment.Descriptive Video Works was started in 2003 by content accessibility pioneer DianeJohnson, and has been providing ground-breaking audio description services ever since. Descriptive Video Works has been part of Keywords Studios since 2019.
