Joe is a Sr. Solutions Architect at NAGRA based in Burbank, CA. Joe works with studios and broadcasters to protect high-value video content using NAGRA’s anti-piracy services, including NexGuard forensic watermarking products for streaming and file-based workflows.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He started his career at LSI Logic in Irvine doing ASIC design, then moved into the M&E industry as an Applications Engineer at DivX in San Diego. After a successful IPO at DivX, Joe joined Civolution in Burbank to work on content protection, watermarking, and OTT streaming. The Civolution NexGuard team and assets were acquired by NAGRA in 2016.
