In 1985, Eric received his degree of engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electronique et Radio-électricité de Grenoble (ENSERG).
Since October 2014, he has been the VP of media and content security at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He explores security solutions as well as new paradigms of content consumption and production. Previously, in 1998, he founded and led the Technicolor Security Laboratories. This team of 30 experts designed technologies such as advanced key management, audio and video watermarking, video fingerprinting, network security, and secure coding.
He filed more than 95 patents in security, Pay TV, and User Interface. He published many papers and one book dedicated to DRM (Securing Digital Video, Springer, 2012).
