The Value of an Intelligent Workplace Powered by AI
Media & Entertainment organizations need to answer this question if they want to succeed: Is my workplace intelligent enough? To stay ahead of the competition and the changing landscape, it’s important to find new ways of working smarter to allow for the opportunity to innovate and adapt. This session is meant to provide tips on how to change the way you work internally to allow for more competitive ways to work externally. Why Video Post-Production and VFX will Inevitably Move to the Cloud (and it’s not why you’ve been told…)
The M&E industry has come to embrace the cloud for content creation, management and content distribution. Distribution was the first to move, and now OTT delivery is synonymous with the cloud. But the harder processes to move were always the content creation and management with massive file sizes and compute requirements. In this session we’ll look at the economics of the cloud migration, the new business processes/workflows it enables and why cloud storage is the key to the migration. We will explore new Cloud 2.0 compute and storage options and how organizations that maintain flexibility and remain agile will be the ones that survive this next great disruption in our industry.
Mark Turner, Entertainment Technologist

Thanks to metadata and the advanced technologies that use and enhance it, improved processes at the beginning of content creation are now directly elevating consumer experiences and profits at the end. This session will walk you through how smarter metadata use and united processes can make content production, content distribution, live streaming and digital video playout systems more efficient and bring greater ROI.
