SAVE THE DATE, OCT. 4: HITS FALL IS GOING TO BE “EPIC”

LOS ANGELES:  The Hollywood Innovation & Technology Society (HITS) will be “EPIC” this fall, thanks to a full morning of keynotes, panels and use-case presentations about Entertainment Production in the Cloud (EPIC).  In addition, the day-long meeting at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, will focus on other key, innovative and transformative technologies including blockchain, AI, distributed workflows, and cybersecurity; and, once again, will be co-locating the SoCal Women’s Leadership Group annual meeting at HITS Fall.

In total over 1000 senior studio executives and their technology partners attended last year’s HITS Fall, making it the largest industry conference of the season in Los Angeles. In addition, the Information Security Systems Association (ISSA) LA chapter will be capping off the day with its monthly member dinner meeting.  Furthermore, HITS Fall will also host membership meetings and technology briefings for both the Trusted Partner Network (TPN) and Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR).

“By providing the most relevant, expert thought-leadership, HITS is a must-attend event for its core membership of studio IT and technology executives,” explains MESA Executive Director Guy Finley.  “By co-locating with other key, industry associations we are expanding the HITS community, while providing event sponsors and MESA members with valuable, new business relationships.”

HITS is one of six, key technology communities managed by MESA, the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance, providing conferences, media and initiatives for HITS as well as the Smart Content Council (SCC), Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH), Trusted Partner Network (TPN) and Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR).  The SoCal Women’s Leadership Group is a collaborative activity of Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Women@Disney, Women of Fox Sports, Lionsgate Women’s Empowerment Group (WEG), NBC Universal’s SoCal Women’s Network (WNN), Fox’s Women in Tech@21CF, Netflix’s Women in Tech, Women of Warner (WOW), SPE’s Women in Technology (WiT), Women of Action Vision and Empowerment (WAVE).
