Fran Pomerantz is the founder of The Pomerantz Group, LLC. Based in New York City, Ms. Pomerantz focuses on recruiting executives in the Digital space across a broad range of industries and disciplines, including early-stage venture capital, private equity backed firms and smaller-sized public companies.

Ms. Pomerantz founded her firm in 1995 in Los-Angeles at the dawn of digital media. She was recognized as a leader in the industry and was named one of the top 50 Digital Coast executives by the Digital Coast Reporter.

Ms. Pomerantz left Los Angeles in 2005 to join Korn/Ferry International in New York. As a Partner in the Media, Entertainment and Convergence sectors within Korn/Ferry’s Global Consumer Market, Ms. Pomerantz recruited senior digital media executives across a range of industries, with a focus on internet and mobile companies.
Recognized as a digital expert nationally, Ms. Pomerantz is a frequent speaker at industry conferences where she discusses industry trends, leadership challenges, recruiting, and career management in traditional and digital media spaces. She serves as a member of the Los Angeles Digital Coast Roundtable, and was a founding member of the VIC Executive Board.

Before embarking on her career in executive search, Ms. Pomerantz spent 15 years with the Hamburger Hamlet restaurant chain. There, as Vice President, she oversaw the chain’s successful national expansion.

Ms. Pomerantz currently serves on the GlobalGiving New York Leadership Council, a non-profit organization that directly connects donors with grassroots projects in the developing world.
Ms. Pomerantz received a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.
