In the early days, like many of us, Lee was unaware of the complexities and challenges video piracy brings. His only understanding of video piracy was ‘that guy’ who can get the latest movies on VHS. However, as the internet took off and piracy moved to P2P networks, his interest grew. His first investigations were identifying hackers reverse engineer smartcards and the evolving world of cardsharing. Spending many a day lurking around forums and IRC, gaining knowledge of a world that has become 20 years so far in anti-piracy.
