Brandi is currently a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Before joining Chase, she was a stay-at-home mom for eleven years. There were no definite plans to pursue a career in technology until health issues necessitated that a return to the workforce. Being a firm believer in “Go big or go home”, Brandi put her all into this change and dove in head first. The first nudge came from Career Karma setting the stage that this was an attainable career in a short amount of time. From there, Brandi was accepted to Kenzie Academy in the Full-Stack Web Development program. During her time there, she took every opportunity to branch off and learn more. During her time with Kenzie she was introduced to PepUp Tech. PepUp Tech provided the necessary skills for Brandi to land her first Software Engineering role at Gravitate Solutions using the Salesforce platform. Though her time in this role was short-lived, the experience and support proved pivotal to how she approaches learning and future mentorship opportunities.
