The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible to drive an effective marketing program with our Strategic Reseller partners and our VAR. We’re searching for the Channel Rock Star who knows how to build relationships and mindshare and understands how to attract, promote and optimize our partners for growth.  The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of creating and delivering innovative, scalable channel marketing programs that drive pipeline.

 

Tasks at Hand

  • Create and deliver marketing and sales enablement tools and collateral to assist the channel in generating leads, and effectively selling and closing deals.
  • Develop and manage processes to recruit new partners.
  • Develop and manage processes to capture and route partner leads to sales.
  • Work closely with partners to develop joint marketing plans that tie to lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Develop, deploy and test innovative Go-to-Market partner programs and social media, search, and outbound campaigns.
  • Implement metrics to demonstrate ROI against channel marketing spend.
  • Closely collaborate and align with those responsible for product, industry and field marketing initiatives.
  • Be an internal advocate for partners among key stakeholders.
  • Create and manage paid and owned channel related events and activities.
  • Responsible for Inside Marketing to strategic partners (newsletters, special mail campaigns, partner sales materials) to help build motivated partner sales teams
  • Be an excellent presenter and host webinars and presentations to our partners about our solution value and the partner program
  • Facilitate cooperation between our sales team and our partner sales.

 

Must Haves

  • Strong knowledge of partner channel models and related support, particularly for tech/IT companies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with sales and marketing teams and communicate findings to Aspera senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of developing successful partner lead generation programs.
  • Experience in understanding complex and flexible products and technologies to effectively articulate the key value and benefits that is most relevant to partners
  • Strong analytical skills to identify insights and optimize execution of campaigns/programs.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience and at least 2 years Channel/Partner marketing
  • Great social skills in front of customers and partners
  • A self starter that can own and entire process and be ready for a fast moving startup environment
