Position

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Remote Working

Salary: c$25ph

ZOO Digital has a fantastic opportunity for a Creative Associate to join our Creative team based in El Segundo, CA. Our Creative team is a key component in the localization of media titles in the post-production phase, contributing to the full Dubbing process and liaising with ZOO’s internal teams to see projects through to completion.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

Writing creative letters with guidelines and recommendations for international localization
Creating other international dubbing documents, including localization lists and character dialogue lists
Identifying and solving creative problems that arise with studios
Working on multiple varied projects, including original scripted series, original documentary series, and feature films, depending on client specifications
Working alongside other ZOO Departments, including English, Scripting, Dubbing, Mixing, and Technology

Requirements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Experience gained within a Post-Production environment is essential for this role.



We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, and creative individuals with excellent time management skills and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a virtual work environment, be willing to learn on the job, and have an inquisitive mind – asking questions, but also learning how to find answers.

We are also looking for applicants with the following experience:

Knowledge of the post-production process
Competent and comfortable working in Microsoft Office / Outlook / Teams
Fluency writing plot summaries, character descriptions, adaptation notes – the role is well suited to someone who has a drama or theatrical background, with a good understanding of script coverage or how to write character briefs.
