Responsibilities

• Analyze and model existing business processes essential for the functioning of the product
• Collaborate with different product development and analytical teams in delivering product solutions
• Gather business requirements and conduct technical feasibility analysis
• Perform data interpretation and visualize by using tools viz. Tableau and Excel
• Assist in the day to day operations of avails exceptions generation
• Perform automation of data acquisition, validation and exceptions generation processes
• Perform technical feasibility analysis, create business requirement document and translate it into functional specifications
• Provide analytical support by facilitating data extraction from various database tables and data comprehension
• Design, develop, and support business intelligence visualizations, reports, and dashboards
• Ensure data quality and integrity through the support of data governance processes
• Implement new analyses and guide business on how to draw insight from the data
• Stay current on cutting edge technologies and advancements in analytics
• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and inform product and business decisions
• Work closely with Client Servicing teams to ensure high quality and timely delivery of metadata coinciding with timelines of their strategic release of digital content
• Provide architecture of new system design and proposing solutions for the current business operations
• Document the business requirements and create SOP and training guide for offshore team
• Manage business relationships with worldwide media and entertainment offices (WB, Sony, Paramount, NBCU etc.) for metadata aggregation, vendor management, knowledge sharing and process efficiency
• Collaborate with Digital Operations on establishing, implementing, and enforcing new policies and procedures that utilize new tools and enhance operational flows

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Information Systems, Math/Statistics, or other closely related discipline.  Must also possess the following:

• Skills in MySQL, Google BigQuery, Excel, Tableau
• Ability to identify KPIs in data and track them on daily basis in accordance to business requirements
• Familiarity with database architecture, process flow and implementing the same in product design and development
• Knowledge and experience in relational databases
• Knowledge in data normalization and ability to create database structures for master data storage
• Expert knowledge of Excel and ability analyze data using advanced features
• Experience in master data management or similar role
• Strong visualization abilities, business intelligence background is preferred
• Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and reporting
• Experience gathering business and system requirements for the reporting function
• Experience gathering functional requirements and translating into technical designs
