Head of Product Management – Identity

As a business leader, you will own the development of the product vision, distilling it into an actionable roadmap and working with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver both incremental and next generation Identity capabilities. You will be representing the voice of the product with broad range of business, legal and technical stakeholders, and executive leadership. In addition, you will also manage the geographically distributed team of talented product managers in the Identity group.
As part of the Cloud Technology division led by our CTO/EVP, the Identity group is responsible for the platform and experiences, including authentication, authorization, account management, and integrations with 3rd parties, and enterprises. Simply put, the team is responsible for the Adobe ID. The successful candidate would have led product function for web-scale identity system that span both consumer and enterprise domains. This role requires significant domain expertise and strategic thought leadership.
Key responsibilities
- All Adobe products and services rely on Identity! You and your team will work collaboratively to understand their business needs and lead the end to end product planning cycle.
- Drive the long term product vision and strategy, identity key projects, reconcile existing efforts towards the bigger picture and set actionable roadmap.
- Deliver actionable requirements and acceptance criteria to engineering teams.
- Manage expectations across the cross-functional teams (customers, business, development teams, IT, Ops, Legal, Privacy, Security, and customer success).
- Manage a global team of senior product managers, including inspire, coach and performance manage.
What you need to succeed:
- 8+ years of experience spanning both technical and business roles, in the core identity and access management space. You are expected to be a domain expert on day 1.
- Domain expertise in single sign-on, federation, and multi-factor and adaptive authentication.
- Critical intuitions on both consumer and enterprise space, including balancing user experience with privacy and security concerns.
- Ability to lead projects with significant technical, business and legal complexities, from concept to delivery.
- Experience leading world class product management team.
- Naturally tendencies include: plan long term and execute short term, data-driven and critical thinker.
- Ability to influence executive and senior level leaders regarding product vision, road map and work backlog priorities and trade-offs
- BS degree in technology-related field, MBA is highly desirable
