Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements and to develop functional designs
• Document technical design and develop associated code, configuration changes, and other technical work needed to implement agreed designs 
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment processes as needed to ensure the quality of the solutions being delivered 
• Troubleshoot and remediate production issues to ensure the ongoing functioning our metadata platforms •Provide advice on best practice techniques for proactive management of workflow processes, including workflow error diagnosis, rectification, and purging
• Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives
• Provide mentoring and cross-training to peers and interdependent team members.

Skill, Experience & General information required: 

• Requires a Bachelor degree (or higher) in computer science or related field 
• 5+ years of professional software development experience 
• 1+ experience designing and developing workflow solutions using Activiti, JPBM, or similar workflow engines 
• Strong Java and application server experience and working knowledge of setup, configuration and deployment activities experience with Groovy, Python or similar scripting languages 
• Solid working knowledge of SQL writing, stored procedures writing and query optimization 
• Knowledge in java web services development using REST API access. 
• Some front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, etc. is preferred
