As Principal Brand Manager, VALORANT EMEA you will be responsible for supporting the EMEA brand narrative and overall go to market strategy for VALORANT capturing the imagination of the EMEA audience, both game and esports, and bringing the next generation of players to the game, in particular on consoles.

You will work with a team of strategic partners like creative, community, and channel strategy. As a part of the regional product management team, you will work closely with other regions’ and country VALORANT teams. You will actively contribute to the direction of the overall product strategy for VALORANT in the region within the regional product lead’s strategy.

Marketing and brand management at Riot Games uses insights and experience with brand strategy and management to establish and inspire others with a clear vision for the product and experiences, while guiding teams towards delivering incredible levels of player focus in EMEA.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Brand, VALORANT EMEA. This role can be based in Reading (UK), Berlin (Germany), Paris (France), Barcelona (Spain), Istanbul (Türkiye), Dubai (UAE), or Dublin (Ireland).

Responsibilities

Support development of product marketing strategies (including vision, goals, roadmap, and prioritization) for VALORANT, incorporating both game and esports, and with a focus on the console player audiences in the region.
Provide marketing insight and guidance to the EMEA brand and marketing teams, advocating for the results of publishing activity.
Ensure that your marketing programs are aligned with the regional product lead’s goals, target audiences, and core brand strategy for VALORANT.
Set objectives and key results for the game marketing efforts, also in collaboration with console 1st parties, work with partner teams to develop measurement plans, guide marketing research, and enhance the team’s collective knowledge of our future console audience and landscape.
Support regional product lead in representing EMEA console players and EMEA esports publishing in Riot’s game experience rooms
Connect with Riot’s country based publishing organizations – promoting successful outcomes through close collaboration and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience managing successful brand and marketing campaigns in the video game, technology, esports, broadcasting or entertainment industry, throughout all stages of the production lifecycle of a product or experience
4+ years of experience working on console platforms (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) in the EMEA region
Strong knowledge of marketing disciplines and building cohesive campaign strategy and plans
Great understanding of regional/cultural landscape differences and similarities
You are up to date with the gaming and entertainment industry’s newest trends and technologies

Desired Qualifications

Strong communication skills: excellent ability to communicate effectively, whether across teams, borders, time zones, or desks
Experience working across multiple teams in different disciplines and locations, with excellent relationship management skills
Besides English you are multilingual in one of the main EMEA market languages (French, German, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, or Polish)
